Puʻuloa: The Premier Hawaiian Band for VA, Richmond & East Coast Events. Authenticity in every note!
Soli Satele is a dynamic singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose soulful voice and island-flavored grooves bring fresh energy and authenticity to Puʻuloa Hawaiian Band.
Hailing from Vailoa’uta, American Samoa, and based in Virginia Beach, Soli emerged on the music scene in 2019 and has been making waves ever since. He specializes in Island Reggae / Roots Reggae, drawing rich inspiration from legends like Stevie Wonder, Ernest Ranglin, Bob Marley, and UB40. Soli blends these influences with his own Polynesian roots to create music that feels both authentic and deeply personal.
With over a decade of professional experience, Soli has performed across a wide range of genres — including Traditional and Contemporary Hawaiian, Reggae, Jazz, Motown, and Top 40. He has opened for major artists such as Brenton Wood, Color Me Badd, Emily King, and Common Kings, and has written or produced songs for artists including Ms. B Royal, Dread Kennedy, and Shakamon. His original music, including the jazz-infused island reggae single “Last Time,” is available on all major platforms.
In Puʻuloa, Soli adds beautiful guitar work, rich vocal harmonies, and his signature Polynesian vibe to the band’s sound. His warm stage presence and musical versatility make him a perfect fit for delivering the true spirit of aloha.
When he’s not performing, Soli continues to write, produce, and share his music with the world.
